Buenos Aires, January 20 (NA) -- The owner of Sur Finanzas, Ariel Maximiliano Vallejo, posted two mysterious images on his WhatsApp status. These could be interpreted as him feeling betrayed by someone, and in this regard, he might break his silence in the case investigating alleged money laundering, in which the president of the AFA, Claudio 'Chiqui' Tapia, and some Argentine football clubs are implicated. According to the Argentine News Agency, two photos were uploaded from the cell phone owned by Vallejo. The first one featured a quote from the late president Juan Domingo Perón: 'To the friend, everything; to the enemy, not even justice... J.D.P. June 73'. The second image stated: 'In political action, the scale of values for every Peronist is as follows: First the homeland, then the movement, and then the men'. In this way, the head of Sur Finanzas may have sent a veiled message pointing to someone who betrayed him or whom he considers an enemy. The firm, founded in 2022 in Adrogué, is pointed to by the Justice for allegedly moving more than 72,342 million pesos through 74 fake companies, which led to 19 simultaneous raids on private homes, offices, and even the headquarters of the Banfield club. As the Justice system advances and seeks to reconstruct the investigated financial network, Vallejo's figure becomes increasingly relevant to understanding the scope of the case. In this sense, his media presence, his economic movements, and his influence in football generate an impact that transcends the strictly legal.
